Updated hinged lift gate with 2nd deck

A few members wanted to see how it worked with the added 2nd deck. You duck under the 2nd deck and lift the gate. There's about a 2 inch side clearance between the gate and the 2nd deck. The sky in the background doesn't look as bad as it is in this photo. I guess I had the camera lights pointed the wrong way.

I'm afraid so. More than I can count. I once cut a coal train there moved the engines and than lifted the gate with one of the coal cars still on the gate. I'll have to fix that coal car some day.



George, that is one of the best designed gates I've seen. I'm like Josh and would like to see more of your layout.
