I am looking for the small card that is attached on soundtraxx tsunami bags for ge fdl-16, it has all the horns program var, if anyone could type them down for me, or scan it, I have lost my card and i want to select a new horn :(

can you look on their site for product downloads? I model steam and can check the CVs I need to change when I leave my book at home

I have looked on their website, but im looking for the horn value ex: Nathan P5 cvar XXX set to value ZZZ

I found my kt1000 for my ac4000cw.

here is the horn schematic for the ge-fdl 16 for the KT1000:

Horn: cv115:
Wabco E2 0
Leslie A125/A200 Combo 1
Leslie S3L 2
Leslie RS3L 3
Leslie S5T 4
Leslie RS5T 5
Nathan K3L 6
Nathan K3LA 7
Nathan K5LA 8
Nathan M3 9
Nathan M5 10
Nathan P3 11
Nathan P5 (early) 12
Nathan P5A 13
Holden M3H 14
Holden K5H 15

I also have a EMD 710 Soundtraxx GN1000, but no GE/FDL16. the values and the horns available are the same respectively except the Combo horn isnt avail but the Leslie S2M is a value of 1. Also the Nathan P5 is modern and a value of 12.

Hope this helps,

Brad

can you post a picture of the Genesis version of the tsunami board? Soundtraxx said I could not use it on the RTR's I have. And maybe a sound clip if possible. Going to be picking up my NCE power pro starter set and will maybe order a few tsunami diesel decoders.

You CAN use it in a RTR, mine is installed in a C44-9W, i even reused the wire clip that where on the athearn board, but i hardwired the motor leads and wheel pickup

ill throw a video on youtube tonight

in fact the size of the chip is actually the same than the original board in my c44-9w, it is a bit thicker due to the 2 capacitor

thanks for the link to the boards. To me, it makes sense to get the Genesis board. I mean there isn't extra wiring attached to them and im assuming that the capacitor is attached to the board unlike the RTR version, correct? Plus price seems identicle also.

The genesis board is great if you use the bulbs provided for your headlights and bulbs for your ditch lights. The problem with the Genesis board is that if you ever decide to upgrade to LEDs, the Genesis board does not provide enough voltage for them and theres no way around it.

well either way i go. i plan on having Mark(mgswy) do the install with his incredible talent. The RTR and Genesis version are the same price.
