You catch gate runners by parking out of sight before the train comes through and stopping the nitwits that manage to make it across without being hit after the gates come down but before the train gets there.

They do that with Operation Lifesaver.
 
/\ Are they trying to catch people doing stupid things at the Crossing? If so, good for them. I do have a question though, why so much horn action? Not complaining but it just seemed like alot more then usual for a train, light engine or not, going through a crossing.
