Train and emergency vehicle videos

A good illustration of why they usually have another fire station on the other side of tracks.

Wow, they were hauling butt down that street. I'll bet a few pieces of loose gear got rearranged when they hit that crossing. :)

The videos work for me. That ladder truck sure doesn't have a lot of clearance under those cantilever signals.

that works...
smart guy, unlike the other ones i watched, he went a different way :) must have been an urgent call or something

I think that's about the plainest scheme I've seen on a new Dodge. It did look like he was late for lunch. :)

This fits both this thread and my abandoned lines thread.Yesterday,I was watching trains when a fire truck was responding and crossed the tracks. It turned out it was responding to an accident on 3rd Ave(the old Cotton Belt & SP line) involving a unmarked deputy sheriff's car.The driver of the Lincoln Town Car was going west on 3rd Ave when it failed to stop at the stop sign and the unmarked police car hit it.The driver of the Lincoln was taken to the hospital. The deputy was not responding to any calls. Here are my videos.

The deputy wasn't reponding to a call but he had all his blue lights activated? Seems a little odd to me.
