Sound for Baldwins

Looking for help. Recently acquired HO scale Stewart Hobbies Baldwins (S-12, VO-1000). Has anyone found/acquired/installed DCC with Baldwin sound in such models? I put Lok-Sound 3.5 with Alco noises into the S-12; nice funky noises but not right!! I'd appreciate any tips.

Glad to see you made it to the forums! I think you'll find these guys to be much more helpful than I was. The only info I had to go by is what's on the Bowser/Stewart site (http://bowser-trains.com/Stewart/Stewart DCC Info.htm).

There are two cuts with S-12 sounds on the album "First Generation Diesels Volume 2". Track 8 is a NYC with left channel in the loco and right channel outside. Can you say, "pocketa-pocketa-pow." Track 9 is from the Sierra Railroads #44 and #42. I believe there are enough sounds here one could cut and paste to create a load for your loksound.
