I think you mean "right side of the road".Yep, that's because they were mainly based in Germany, wrong side of the road too !!!
Coolest "oversize" load I've seen was about 20 years ago in Mass late one night. It was one of those where they were transporting a large (humongous) steel beam about 75 feet long or longer or so and they just strap it to a truck attachment dolly in the front and strap some wheels on the back and the load is the trailer structure itself. It was super long. A beam for a large overpass or something. It had a dozen state troopers with lights going as escort plus a few of the oversize guide accompaniment vehicles. WIth all the lights including LEO blues I came up on it slowly and slowly passed it as many lanes away as I could. We were returning home to NH from a day convention in Rhode Island and it was probably 10 or 10:30pm and so quite the seen. Being on a large interstate there were many lanes and this took up multiple of them including escort.
We sometimes get some cool oversize truck loads here as the Rio Tinto Kennecot open pit copper mine (supposedly largest in the world and can be seen from space) is only a few miles south of my house and sometimes you see them bring in huge tires or other parts for those huge trucks they drive in the mines, or other very large pieces for whatever infrastructure they are building in the mine.
Now we just need to find you the Wisconsin central heritage unit!Found
NS 9-40c Scaletrains diesel with sound at Enginehouse Services in Green Bay, they have 2 different road numbers at $280 each
back ups found but at $345 each USD, 6 different road numbers at PWRS in Canada
I have known about the full retail priced ones at PWRS for a week or so but knew we could find better pricing, but they were available if the client got desperate
I missed calling Enginehouse today before they closed at 4:30. We may drive up for a day trip to GB depending on what the Doctor tells Terry
THANK YOU all for helping in the search. I was contacted on quite a few sales and that was helpful.
No it is isn'tThe steering wheel is on the wrong side
I am starting to lean toward the Intermountain unit but will hold out until New Year’s, I hopeNow we just need to find you the Wisconsin central heritage unit!
