Most of you remember my comments about some of the business practices around here. Complaining without a solution is whining. So, I contacted my old credit union in NC. End result is, I transferred my personal loan to them for a 7%apr savings, opened a credit card with them with a zero fee transfer of my balance from GTE, at a 3% apr lower rate. Since the auto industry is having some problems, I couldn't refinance the car loan with them without paying $900 to equal the equity difference, though after doing that, my apr would have been .5% less, and payments $20/month less.
