Good Morning everyone....over cast and cloudy here in this part of Wisconsin.
Willie pointed out that Scale Trains has new 4 axle locomotives in the pipeline and they are equipped with capacitors for better operation. I pre-ordered a C&NW locomotive. I watched a demo of locomotives equipped with different types of capacitors and the length they move after running on to dead track and the travel distance is impressive. I missed Scale Train's email in my inbox so again thank you
Willie and I'll blame you when the credit card comes and the wife sees another locomotive that I've purchased.
There's an old saying that goes "Locomotive rich and money poor".
Terry: That picture of that old refrigerator reminds me of the old that was on the porch of the cabin we used to rent near Hayward, Wisconsin. We were 4.5 miles of the main road on a gravel fire road so I guess that we were in the middle of nowhere. The refrigerator lack a lot of space for ice cubes and the container of leeches usually froze if kept in the refrigerator over-night. Bears were a constant problem and at night I always carried a weapon when walking in the woods to the cabin of the owner. We had a good deal that we paid $125 a week but we could keep our fishing equipment and outboard in the cabin between trips. Its was like have your own cabin in the woods.
Looking like we may get the first major snow storm of the season next week if the temperatures stay where they are right now. If its gets colder, the low could move to the south and we may not get any snow!
Has anyone order scenery materials from Model Scenes in the Czech Republic? I did an order using PayPal and I haven't heard any thing from Model Scene. It looks like a hassle to try and get a reimbursement from PayPal. I guess I'll just sit and wait and see what happens, especially with an international order.
Timer for a lunch break....
Greg
