Good Morning All. 72° and clear here in beautiful North Central Texas. Only reached 94° yesterday, a welcome respite from the heat.
Good Morning Flo. Are those your famous homemade frosted raisin croissants? I'll have a couple along with a handful of bacon.
Getting ready for the vacation trip starting this Friday. We will stop overnight in Baton Rouge LA after lunch in Lafayette LA. Saturday takes us to the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum in Gulfport MS, which I have visited before while some of their layouts were still under construction. Probably eat lunch there as well. Then on to Gulf Shores AL to meet up with my wife's sister and some other friends at a house that they are renting. We'll actually be staying in a condo a couple of miles away due to the lack of an elevator at the house, it's also a couple hundred $$$ cheaper!. Leave to come home Thursday.
Thanks for the likes and comments from all regarding the progress on my current project;
Patrick, Sherrel, Chet, Jerome, Curt, Justin, Tom, Z, Louis.
Not a lot of activity in the train shed yesterday. Nothing that I had planned got done. Other stuff took up more time than expected so I just ran some trains and tidied up a bit.
Since I have no progress pictures, I will re-post these shots of last spring's project of a small rural town.
And a close-up of "Jack's Back Yard".
Here's a shot of Bad Bart falling off his motorcycle.
Patrick - If you're going the DC route, then
Atlas Selectors 215 can route power from two different power packs to four separate blocks. They can be connected to each other in series to route power to additional blocks.
Chet - Not bad at all for a couple of F units. Did you have to add any weight to the engines, or did they weigh OK out of the box?
Terry - Good news on the pickup. Hope that it lasts longer now.
Garry - Certainly glad to read the good news on your recovery efforts. Continued best wishes and prayers from me for a complete recovery.
I notice that today is National IT Professionals Day, celebrating people like
Patrick for holding our "stuff" together, and catching all of the virus's. Hope that he's using a vacation day today.
Everybody have a great day today and every day.
