Hi all! Took a break last night from the layout construction to repaint a new shay I got on the roster"
Wanted to get this closer to the West Side shays of the past. Next step might be painting the front white, but that might be a bit trickier. Did a dry brushing method for the dirt effects on the loco, and a couple passes to get the reds and browns in. Might add an engineer figure and some additional details like mining eqiupment on the side.
