yes, per YEAR. We have not-for-profit status. (tax laws are different here than in the US) The sanctuary is a lifes work sort of thing, the horses started off as a hobby, then became what I do for a living, along with a real job that I've retired from.
My personal horses are my own $$, the sanctuary is a LOT of my own $$ as well as donations.
I prefer not to think about it.
but it did make me sit up and pay attention yesterday.
wonder if I can start a train group to come out and have a place to play, build a brand new lay-out, and make it part of the whole farm experience.
hmmmmmm. (little wheels are spinning in my head. could be because its 1:30 in the morning, and I can't sleep.)
