I was viewing my photobuckt album this afternoon and i noticed i had close to 30 separate albums that could be combined and organized better to find things easier. i started re-arranging the albums (for example: putting all layout and module albums under one main album, with sub-albums for each layout or module in the main album).

Well i wasnt paying attention, and i didnt bother to read that ALL THE LINKS GET BROKEN WHEN MOVING THEM!   Man did i screw up, i was on the last album that i was moving when i finally read the warning!   Man this really sucks, im not sure i can take the time to re-do all my threads and fix all the picture links, i mean i have a few threads that have 100-150 pictures at least in them, that would take hours to go through and fix them all

Well my photobucket album is all nice and organized now, but now im screwed in all the threads i have with pictures in them, here and on all the other forums i belong to  Ohhh man, i need to get off the computer and take a break and go grab a bite to eat, i might just loose it if i dont

I wouldn't worry too much about the threads. Once they roll off the first couple of pages they are rarely read. Just chalk it up to experience.:)

I had simply deleted a few pictures on my photobucket account and found the links broken on all my pictures....lucky i also have PB on my other browser so can post from there.
Edit: Just tried again after a couple of months....... and its working....go figure lol

Yep, reorganizing can sometimes be worse than disorganization. I understand that Photobucket keeps a hisotry of your changes and can change things back to the way they were if you e-mail them. I think they also have follow-link software in place where the links will automatically be updated as long as the pictures aren't deleted from Photobucket. Don't give up hope until you talk to their customer service people.

I suppose you could put the word out that if anyone finds a broken link in thier "travels" around the websites and threads you have pictures, they could just reply, email, or just PM you about the broken link. You could always put a note in your signature line so every post you have has the message in it, thus people will take attention.

Well i fired an email off to the Customer Service Department @ Photobucket. I asked about what Jim was talking about, hopefully they can help me out :o
