Sorry if this has been posted already. It looks like Modeltrainsweathered is no longer. At least thats what I hear. Is everyone using protoweathering now?

Not everyone. I tried to register with the protoweathering site and got snubbed.

I signed up for the Protoweathering site and got right in, it doesn't send you an e mail or anything to let you know the status. I just waited a couple hours and logged in no problem.
I spoke with the owner of Modeltrainsweathered, he said there was a financial issue, but the site will be back up very soon.
On the Protoweathering site you have to wait a bit to get approved. Usually they are pretty quick, not like MTW where some people were waiting over a week to get approved. It may take a day, but you will get approved. It all depends how busy the Administrator is. Here is another really good site from a few other MTW members.
