I ordered a spring loaded screw driver to hold screws in place while attaching car couplers.
On the screw driver's package there was a warning label. This product may be hazardous to your health and cause reproductive problems.
It's all metal but did have a very light coat of oil. I guess it's the oil?

I tried making one, had trouble reproducing the tip.
I think it was $9.95 Dennis. I haven't tried it yet. I'll let you know how I like in my next post.

Those are great little tools, (cross tip & slotted tip) biggest draw back is that the screw needs to be long enough for the jaws to grip the head and enough of the screw shank left to start in the hole.
If it came in any packaging, that's where the risk is likely to be.
That oil could be harmful to some people like any chemical or some products I suspect.
If you are using this while sitting down, with the work over your relatively unshielded "lap", and it slips, it could cause a puncture wound in a very delicate area of your anatomy, possibly resulting in... Oh, never mind!
