Is the vignette effect intentional, or an artifact of a very small f stop setting? Either way, it worked out really well.
It was an intentional photograph. I invited an aspiring photographer over with a very nice camera to take shots of the layout, just before the tear down. As 95% of the shots were not very well executed, a couple passed muster, this being one of them.

As remuneration, a salvageable part of the layout went to their young son, who loved model railroads.
