Class 47 47404 'Hadrian' and Class 55 55023 '9th Queen's Royal Lancers' at the refuelling area Crown Point Depot.
No sooner had I repainted, renumbered and renamed a Class 47 to 47404, Bachmann issued a locomotive of the same.
Only 22 Class 55s were built, but I wanted one with the name of the Regiment my father was in, hence the next follow on number

That one is from TRIX. It's a good runner, though I had to install frog juicers on all the turnouts it crosses except for two.

I wonder if Liliput was better built, it was mostly metal and very heavy, probably a huge flywheel inside but i never opened it. I know other Liliput steam locomotives had flywheels and that helped get through the dead spots. One thing about Liliput steam-the wheels are much nicer than most of their competition.
