In some guys signatures they have a link to their websites, it just has words like "kens pics"or something. Those words have a link in them that sends us to that page.

How do you hide that link in those words??:confused:

I'll attempt to answer this although I'm going by trial and error. I think you have to type the words you want to be able to click on such as Ken's pics then you highlight those words and click on the insert link button. Then just type in the link you want.
I'll post this now to see if it worked.
Well I hope that is what you meant, it seemed to work for me. Let me know if this helps or not!

Ok without the URL here's what it looks like

{url=http://www.modelrailroadphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=2807&page=0&sort=]Click--> NZRMac's Pics[/url}

replace the {&} on the ends with [ ] on the ends to make it work.

HTML doesn't work anywhere in the forum unless Bob enables it for a particular thread. You have to use the vBulletin tags [].

Also, for posting this kind of stuff, there's a spiffy little 'code box' option so you can show the code without having the forum read it.

Code:
 [URL="http://www.modelrailroadphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=2807&page=0&sort="]NZRMac[/URL]

Or maybe not...:confused: :confused:

Oh well. At least it works on the shopping cart software forum I visit for my website. It's a nice feature there. It doesn't really matter here anyway.
