Does anyone make these cars in HO scale?

It's a "modern" 40 foot exterior post box car.

Is it a high cube? I think athearn made 40ft high cubes.

No one makes those. I could use around 30 of those in various paint schemes. Maybe an EMail to Athearn might be necessary.

Seems like cutting down an Intermountain 5283 cu ft FMC boxcar would make a pretty good model:

I think you'll probaly have to cut down an Intermountain car like Chris Roy said. All the cars I've seen like that in both real and model form are 50 footers.

I posted to the wrong thread earlier today. I just got a catalog today from historicrails.com that lists a modern 40' boxcar in MEC colors. No mention of who the manufacturer is though.
