Benchwork Construction - My Lessons Learned

This is really amazing. I found that I was beginning to get impatient even with my current 2 ft by 12 ft layout. Much kudos to you for building this big layout with such high quality craftsmanship! Your benchwork is really top notch!

I haven't posted any updates for a while. I put up hardboard for scene dividers and also hardboard fascia. And then added cardboard strips with hot glue to fill in basic scenery sub-base. Then after that covering it with plaster gauze. Next will be colored plaster.

Installed mostly Micro Engineering code 70 track to the main yard (tracks 3-6 from the right edge) and 2 rows of Shinohara code 70 track, all of it spiked using MicroEngineering spikes.

where did you get your homasote board? I live in colorado and can not find it anywhere. Very nice neat work , it will pay dividends down the road should any changes or adjustments need to be made.
