  • I was looking into the linear micro servo and discovered your post. How do you like the linear servo motors to control turnout switches? PIC code using pulse width modulation would be a breeze to control the servo.

    Hi - as it happens, I gave up on the idea of using a micro-servo and went with good old fashioned Tortoises in the end.
    I discovered that the micro servos only have a rated life of a few thousand throws. This is not a lot and I would not like to have to dig out a faulty servo from the layout.
