Well, here's the thing, you can't scale down weight very easily. You'd have to scale down 3 dimensions for weight, and assume that the materials are identical in properties and density.
The NMRA guidelines give the best operational quality. 1 ounce, plus half an ounce for every inch of car. I'd hate to weigh that thing. Bachmann is a hit or miss when it comes to NMRA weight specs. Sometimes it's a little under, sometimes it's right on. If it's off by half an ounce to an ounce, it won't really affect the car operationally. Athearn cars are about a half ounce to a whole ounce underweight.
