Hey all,
So, I've got a question for anyone who's willing to answer--My favorite two locomotives, ever, are the ex-CNW Twins, sadly, they've been repainted, but Athearn recently rolled out Genesis's the two C44-9Ws, the 8701 and the 8646. I was able to get my hands on the 8646, but my chance at ordering the 8701 slipped through my grasp. Does anybody know of any shops or sites where one would maybe be available, or does anybody have experience with shops or people that make custom models? If so, please, just drop anyone you'd recommend before and I'll look into things! I'm fairly new to the hobby, but I've been looking at getting the Twins, as I'm looking to model the Union Pacific in 2008. (I already have the UP 1995)
