Hello
I am new to this site and the purpose is I am trying to find info on where I can find out how old or the worth of some antique rr cars still in there boxes. I am helping a lady clean out her house and would like to get her a reasonable amout for this stuff. She need to pay the Dr bills from her late husband that died of cancer.
Any help would be of great value. I do have pics of them.

Posting your pics will definitely help.
Just curious, what is your relationship with the lady cleaning out her house?
Only asking because it's your first post.

Charlie, sad to say, but if the pics at the Photobucket site are typical of what she has, they are neither antique nor worth much. They are all AHM trainset quality items from the 80's and 90's. Engines might be worth $10 and the freight cars maybe $2-$3 each. The brass track and small powerpack are worth virtually nothing. If I was interested in that quality of item, I'd offer $25 for the 11 items in the pictures you posted.

OK Thanks. She said she has other items but haven't come across them yet.

Your doing a good thing for the lady, but sorry to say, i agree with the other two. Jim was alittle over enthusiastic about the engine in my opinion, $10 is a bit much for it. Honestly your best bet would be putting it in a garage sale or something as a train set, youll prolly get $20 fror the set.
