Earlier this year I rescued the 8x12 layout from my parents house that my dad I worked on years ago, he was going to toss in the trash. http://www.modelrailroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21047

I got it to my house and up and running. Shortly after that I realized that the layout was just taking up too much room so I was going to try and sell it. I've been trying to get rid off it all summer with no luck so last week I decided that I was going to turn it into a 4x8 layout and this is what I ended up with. Pretty basic, 2 loops, DCC, here are some pictures, very rough at this point and sorry for the huge pictures.

Just a suggestion. You can set your Photobucket account to limit your photos to a certain maximum size. On the upload page where you see the big green 'Select Photos and Videos' button look down below the line where it has 'Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc and you'll a small line that says 'Customize Your Upload Options'. Click that an dit will take you to the 'Upload Options' page. There you'll see a section on 'Resize my photos to this size'. There's a selection of sizes ranging from 100X75 to 2048X1536. I have mine set to 640X480. Smaller sizes are better on the Web because they load faster. Be sure to go to the bottom and save the changes. You can change the size of photos already uploaded by clicking edit under the photo thumbnail and using the resize option.
