A new PRR switcher drops off an empty covered hopper for a load of pure white sand. Allot of the sand produced here went to be used in glass and telescope lenses including the Hubble Telescope.

This hopper started out with factory Erie Lackawanna paint. Car was then painted conrail brown and was then wet sanded to simulate the conrail paint washing away. Car then had patches added for its current owner,NRLX. It was then decaled and weathered.
