This started as an Accurail 3 bay ACF hopper but I patched it for CSX. The interesting thing is you can still see part of the "N" from "L&N". This project was based on a real car of a similar number. I ran out of "4s" and changed the number. Bad move. I was impatient but I should have just bought a new batch of numbers instead. Anyway, the real car also had those white repair areas on each end and the faint white streaks coming down from the roofwalk supports. You don't see many CSX hoppers in L&N blue so I thought it was an interesting project. Anything CSX interests me!
