My second Railbox boxcar from Walthers will join the BN-patched Railbox and the ABOX combo door boxcar from Athearn.

I ordered a couple of these this morning. The Amarillo Railroad Museum is selling these custom-ordered Agrium covered hopper cars from ScaleTrains. Too good to pass up on something a bit more unique. I'll post pics when they get here.

Great day at the Truro model railroad show this morning. Said hello to many from the Dartmouth and Truro clubs and bumped into my old shipmate who was having trouble carrying several new engines out….lol. I hauled in some custom Annapolis Valley boxcars, a double track bridge and a Rapido F9 B unit to match the A unit acquired last year. Campfire tonight and it will be another perfect day!

So it took a bit longer to arrive than I thought, but the hoppers arrived today! My first Scale Trains rolling stock and they are pretty nice. :)

I had placed an order with Yankee Dabbler over two weeks ago for a Scale Trains SD45X. After I placed the order, I realized the city on the delivery address wasn't correct, so I contacted YD to correct it. The guy I talked to seemed pretty pissed off at me for making that mistake and told me they wouldn't be able to find my package now to make the correction. I contacted UPS to make the delivery correction, but they could only change the delivery address to a UPS drop off store. I choose a CVS drugstore near me. Now, nobody knows where the package is. UPS says I need to contact the shipper. YD says I need to talk to UPS. The online UPS tracking shows a label was made and the package is waiting for pickup at the shipper. I filed a lost package claim with UPS.
If I don't get something solid tomorrow, I'll go to my credit card and have the payment withdrawn.
In the meantime, I found that Hiawatha Hobbies had one left, but it needs a decoder. I have plenty of them in the desk drawer, so I ordered the loco. A couple days after I ordered it, I got a notice from UPS that they acknowledge the change of delivery address. I didn't change the delivery address on this one from Hiawatha, but UPS seems to think I want all future packages to me that are shipped by UPS to go to the CVS store. I don't want to make things worse, so I'll just wait and pick up this package tomorrow from the CVS store.

It shouldn't be that difficult with our modern technology, but apparently it is. I hope it all works out for you.
