It isn't anything fancy but I think it will serve its purpose - tell me where my points are and which tracks are open :)

I was going to wire up one of my PL11's - to see if I could do it but ran into an immediate problem. These are the Momentary Switches I got:

I weas expecting a 3 terminal type of switch ???

You can only use momentary switches on point motors, or you run the risk of burning out the solenoid.

Also as far as I'm aware you'll either need a different type of point motor to operate the LED's in tandem with the switch, or fit micro switches to the frog itself to operate the LED's with the switch.

Aside from the momentary issue, that is a DPDT switch and you want an SPDT switch.

Hang on a minute - I just ordered a bunch of SPST switches, as was suggested. So what do I need - SPST switches OR SPDT Switches???

The Caboose Industry Ground Throws arrived this morning and I observed an immediate problem with them - the hole for the Throw Arm is way too small to fit over the lug on the Peco Turn Out.

Yes I can drill the hole out; however, unless you get it the exact size for the Lug, the Ground Throw will not change the point. To make these things work, I am going to have to buy the exact size drill bit and then drill our each of the Ground Throws I intend to use.

I am disappointed in these things as they looked to be a good solution for my three front turnouts that don't need the PL11's ...

That sucks! Why does the hole have to be exact?
If it isn't exact then there is too much play (in the hole) and the ground throw wont push the throw arm far enough for it be fully thrown. The little lug on the turnout has to fit "snuggly" into the hole of the Ground Throw. It seems as though there isn't much "wiggle room" with these things.

Yep - but it looks to me as though they work on a "one size fits all" policy OR (being an American business) they make them to atlas specs and don't consider any other makes. I don't know, all I know is I have to modify them to work with my Peco's :(
