I am simply fascinated when Any steam locomotive gets to haul fright in modern times!Love this!
Yeah, let us be the rank amateurs! We are.![]()
Honestly, that's just all the more funny.Btw the guys that were upset have told Us that we are not invited to any run sessions that they may be having because they have strict rules of what can be run on any of the sessions they have. They said they would come back to our sessions if we abided by their rules.
How do you guys think that went over?
You'll love this too then.
This locomotive was involved in a track construction project.
A Br.52 pulls a short freight in this video:
And another; a Br.50 out to stretch its legs with a rake of gondolas.
The Germans regularly use museum locomotives to haul freight to get them out of the train shed every now and then. I think it's wonderful that they go to the trouble to maintain these locomotives for revenue service.
Don't forget the bell bottoms! My thought would be go to theirs with the right era engine let’s say the 70’s and have a sound system in it and be able to play some hard rock music from the same era. That would be prototype and say the engineer has a big boombox he takes with him. That should make it that you won’t get asked back but would be so fun to do
Ok, signed up!Yeah, let us be the rank amateurs! That's what makes us something...
That...Sounds like it should be a gang... or band name...
RANK AMATEURS OF THE MODEL RAILROAD FORM!!!
Maybe I'm over thinking this...
If you get a Rapido locomotive with factory sound, the owner of the company has included some specific, definitely not prototypical sound files in the decoder for you to torment the nitpickers with.My thought would be go to theirs with the right era engine let’s say the 70’s and have a sound system in it and be able to play some hard rock music from the same era. I remember the reference in Pink Floyd's The Wall, but never checked it out (unless I am remembering wrong). If the 'rivet counters' have a layout set to a WW2 theme take a Vera Lynn record (remember them?
Tell them there is an air raid and blow their layout to bits.
I probably would have showed them this:Btw the guys that were upset have told Us that we are not invited to any run sessions that they may be having because they have strict rules of what can be run on any of the sessions they have. They said they would come back to our sessions if we abided by their rules.

I like their production. trackside. Reminds me of the Last of the Giants series. I don't watch when they pace in their car - dangerous and causes jams. Here's another steam locomotive with modern cars.
I finally caught on to what you did! yeah, I is slow...Vera Lynn record (remember them?
It took me a while to understand it --- and I wrote it.I finally caught on to what you did! yeah, I is slow...
