I look forward to the visit with the doctor today and have some questions about what I need to do when I leave here. My wife will be here for it as well and she probably has a lot of questions too.
With my recent hospital stay I found it best to try to schedule wife visits with Doctors rounds. She ALWAYS thinks of questions to ask that don't materialize in my brain until after he leaves, if at all.

It's a brain thing, and yes I am guilty of hanging out in my "nothing box".

I have to commend the nurses and the other folks of this profession, as I am the youngest patient here. The other residents look like they are in their eighties to 90s. As I walked to the bathroom, they were emptying out the bags and the smell was pretty bad. My room is at the end of the hallway opposite the bathroom and the walk is fine most times.
What the hell with the hospitals there in Nippon??? Staff that steals, micro-meals, community bathrooms. Glad that my stays have been here in the states.

I saw something today that made me extremely happy.

The next door neighbor with the trashy yard, big mouth, and Ford turbo Diesel planted a For Sale sign in the yard from a local realtor within the last couple of days. It appears in Zillow, Realtor, com, and others.

He'll never get what he's asking with the bump in interest rates that just happened, but hopefully someone will buy that place.

Good morning all. I’ve been up since five after finally falling asleep at o-dark thirty this morning. We have drank too much coffee yesterday as I had a cup half a large can and my wife brought me some iced coffee.

Was hoping to be out of here before my 62nd orbit around the sun happened but oh well.

Happy birthday! Hope you get out of there soon. At least I had a private bathroom. I was practically in a suite since I was the only patient in the hospital during my stay. I was directly connected to the nurse's station so they didn't have far to go to get to me.

Yeah, at least I am not in the group room. There are 6 crammed in there. There is an old lady that screams a lot that I would have snapped back at her by now if I was in that room. I asked for a private room that would have cost 4X the cost of the group room, but the head nurse had other plans as I think she didn’t want to spread her staff out too much. I agreed to stay in this room as long as I didn’t get a roommate.

Here’s what the room looks like. We needed two beds as my wife had to stay with me the first night of the surgery, mainly because I don’t, Habla.

That sink raises the price to double the group room, so I’m hoping that in new patients don’t want to pay. The cost of the rooms R 4400, 8800, and 17600 yen. The private room has a bathroom . A lot of these people here don’t make a lot for retirement so they can’t afford it.

Thanks! I have my b-day dorayaki (sweet pancake sandwich with black bean paste inside). I’ll stick the sky in it to simulate a candle.

Edit: it seems the AI got less sleep than me as it is having issues this morning. Back to finger typing for now. Straw, not sky…

I just looked up the battery life of an A16 iPad and it is ~10 hrs, so I guess I have nothing to worry about. I did turn on low power mode, but that may become irritating after a while.

My 3 amp charger fills this thing up to 80% in about 10 minutes.

That’s good news! When the buyers come around, drink some instant a-hole juice and make it unsellable for a while… on second thought, maybe not as it’ll drive the price down and you may get a worse neighbor.

Great news for you. Do they still let the noisy dogs out in the middle of the night???

Happy Happy birthday to the 💩 👴

Went through 2 boxes so far. Wife has one full box of classical (so far)

I have a growing stack of country and hip hop, and some religious stuff to get rid of.

Finding some good jazz. Looks like libraries are one source that feed the bins of disks this guy gets. Have sorting/genre stickers on the covers.

And I did have one shock!

Was thrilled to see this...

But then...

I like Bowie, but...

Even if they don't sell right away hopefully the yard gets cleaned up some to make it more presentable.

Ha! I wish that were so. They left out angles that would have shown the trashiness in the front, and moved the crap in front of the garage around out of the camera eye. Then moved it back for a different angle. Still looks like crap.

I wish I was a fly on the wall when they showed this house to clients.
