Do a hard shut down and restart. then start looking for bluetooth or wifi connections that are not connecting. Sometimes it gets stuck in a searching loop that drains it fast.

Might also be an app that didn't want to sleep whey you moved to something else.
Did the shutdown and checked battery usage and nothing showing up. I also have a habit of closing applications when I am done using them. I also turned Bluetooth off since I don’t have any devices with me.

Check “background app refresh”, as well. You’d be surprised by all the crap running in the background. And stuff gets turned back on whenever there is an uldate, too.
I had about 8 apps on the list but only 4 had app refresh turned on. I shut them all down.

I’ll see how it goes tomorrow. Thanks youz two!

Would you believe it takes more battery to kill an app and reopen it later than simply letting it sit “suspended”? I only go through my apps about once a month and kill everything.

I had a "senior moment" and forgot to post this mornings sunrise in my previous post.🫤

Good morning, all! Another day of PT is on tap. Hot weather remains in the forecast. I believe 97 is being forecasted. Not much happening here.

Troy - Do you have a store called Half Price Books? The one near me has racks full of CD's.
Louis - On this day 1957 the "Bums" made their move.

STAY SAFE (and stretched)
LATER

I started to reply with something along those lines but decided to not finish it and the next reply was this.

This is true. (At least for apps you use frequently. Ones only used intermittently it’s the same).

There is no need to manually kill an app unless you have a stuck app or something.

Louis - Why aren't you at work this morning (and yesterday)?
I work every morning! Sometime between 3:15 am and finished by 8am. Start times and total hours vary because Amazon is inconsistent with pay rates. we refuse to work for low pay!

While Angela is searching for high paying blocks. I'm here on the PC watching baseball and-or checking on my train buddies until it is time to walk out the door. The longest i work is 3:30-8am, then i need a nap. 🤪

Even with three surgeries I only missed one day. One surgery was scheduled for 7am, I do not work after 8am.

I might have gone overboard on purchasing CDs.

A friend told me to check FB Marketplace. So I did, and found a guy making full time income buying used CDs and DVDs by the pallet from clearing houses that Half-priced books and such sell their overflow to.

That stack cost me $100
NO Mix and Match. Take it all or leave it all.

Mixed genres. He doesn't even try to sort. He just fills the boxes. Loads the cart. Takes cash.

Here's what's in the top box.

Gonna be busy sorting for a while.

So far, it's about 60-70% Classical, Country, a few Rap,

I've found some obscure stuff that I sold off, like the soundtrack to "The Commitments", some Floyd, Enya, Some decent smooth and classic jazz.

Two boxes sorted, four more to go.

Good morning all. I’ve been up since five after finally falling asleep at o-dark thirty this morning. We have drank too much coffee yesterday as I had a cup half a large can and my wife brought me some iced coffee.

Was hoping to be out of here before my 62nd orbit around the sun happened but oh well.

I have to commend the nurses and the other folks of this profession, as I am the youngest patient here. The other residents look like they are in their eighties to 90s. As I walked to the bathroom, they were emptying out the bags and the smell was pretty bad. My room is at the end of the hallway opposite the bathroom and the walk is fine most times.

I look forward to the visit with the doctor today and have some questions about what I need to do when I leave here. My wife will be here for it as well and she probably has a lot of questions too.

My wife didn't have to convert anything for the recipes she learned in Hungary; she never measured anything. She did have to convert temperatures. She has been measuring now using US measurements so that she can write down her recipes and pass them on.
I haven’t graduated to that level of culinary skills yet. The last time I tried that it came out horrible, and I could not eat it. Luckily, one of my classmates walked by, tried it, and ate the rest of it. It was my attempt at making fried noodle in a microwave oven. It would’ve been fine, but I put way too much oyster sauce in.

Exactly!

Sad event, and da Mets ain't a good replacement neither. No one remembers and cares about the Giants though, just da Bums.
Well, the Dodgers left first. It might have to do with the name recognition. Duke Snider, Gil Hodges (my favorite player), Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, Don Newcombe, Jackie Robinson. The Giant did have Willie Mays, Dusty Rhodes and Gail Harris. I'm not saying there weren't other great players on Giants, but their name recognition wasn't as noted as some of the Dodgers.
My parents were Mets fans, disappointed Mets fans.

Happy Birthday to you, and many smores!
