I got my first look at the magical packing peanut. I had heard of it before but never seen it. I received an order from Tony's Trains and from Rapido UK and they both came with this funny, crunchy peanut. So, I filled up my sink with water and poured them in. Pretty neat as they all melted away. The last time I tried testing that, I ended up with a wet mess. :P
Try putting one in your mouth. Only try this with the starch ones (typically a white cream color) , not the shiny foam ones (typically colors like pink or red or blue or green).

Not after they've been through so many hands! I don't think I can afford to lose 10 more pounds! :)

Last time I had a major virus, I went down to about 110. They gave me a giant purple pill to kill it.

But, if they come in a bag labeled as shrimp chips, I'd bite!

Amazing that it is the #1 selling beer in the States and one of the worst tasting. I'm of the opinion though, that if anyone thinks this is great tasting beer, they have never tasted great tasting beer.
Well, the bar is pretty high at your place! :) Wish I had easy access to that stuff out here. The imports all taste weird for some reason.

Have a great day!;)

Good morning all!

Happy Friday!

Currently 53F heading up to a high of 85F. A bit warmer than the last couple of days. No rain predicted. I see we will have a couple
days next week in the upper 80s. Summer is sticking around a little while longer.

Friday chores around the house today

Volleyball last night was a win. Girls played very well and put them away in 2 sets. We ended up stopping at Wendy's last night on
the way home. Been a long time since we had been there, It was just ok. Not as good as I remembered. Frosty was excellant though,
but not as good a a concrete mixer.

That pretty much sums up the news and happenings in my world.

Have a safe day everyone!

Nice arse :P

Made you look, made you stare :P
Ok ok it is not 00 1:76 it is 1:43 holds up hands.

The Nurse Practitioner felt like it was slight dehydration that caused that number. She said that it wasn't far enough out of normal range to be concerned. It just means that I need to drink more beer!;)
Willie I guess a lot of my golf friends also have this same 58 reading because we're always late getting off the 10th tee while there in the club house replenishing their beer supply. Now I know why they need to drink so much beer. Swal

57°F/57°F this cool morning. Cooler this morning than yesterday morning, but going to be a few degrees warmer overall today. Not hot, just warmer.

Nothing scheduled today. I'm going to check band conditions in a few minutes and see how 10 meters is doing this morning. I might be able to make a few more contacts today.

And if not, I'll probably end up in the train room.

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those who love sailing on the Guppy with Cap'n Crunch!
Gotta love them crunchberries!

It's Troy again.

Laundry is in the wash.
Cat is fighting something. He's been peeing a lot. I need to clean the boxes and see if I notice anything off. Of course, we're heading into the weekend, so the vets won't be open and that means Insta-care vet fees if we decide we can't wait to take him in on monday.

Under the vet's guidance, we switched him to senior cat food, and I added a second water fountain. I keep the new one with fresh water every other day.

I may get a bag of the urinary tract health food and mix it with the senior food to see if that helps. When the vet finally got a urine sample from him last time, he did not show signs of the urine crystals. Just bladder irritation, which, she says was probably caused by his recent tooth loss and arthritis.

And in other news, Lucy the NMRA Social Media Manager is still on a tear on her "Professional Social Media Manager" page with the NMRA linkage. If I were looking for someone to manage my company's social media, she'd be in the "NOPE! Never!" pile due to her lack of professionalism and lack of restraint. That stuff belongs on your friends and family pages, not the "Professional" page.

If she retains that position next year, I'll be rethinking my membership.

OK, time to go flip the laundry and clean the cat boxes.

Good morning gang!

69° under sunny skies, with a high near 80° later. Better enjoy it while it lasts. Thunderstorms for tomorrow afternoon and Sunday, and a possible hurricane next week.

We put Lord Fuzzybutt on Urinary tract cat food after his issues 2 years ago put in in the ER vet and cost me about $1400.00. I'm still keeping it on it and he's doing great. The funny thing is his Royal Canin UR cat food, 16 lb bag cost almost double what a 40 lb bag of Purina One chicken and rice dog food costs me......I've got the Chewy.com receipts to prove it!

Good morning from Wisconsin. 58f degrees now heading to a surprising 85. We shall reach the 80’s the next few days.

Volleyball on campus tonight at 6 as UW open their Big Ten season schedule. It should be fun. The UW hockey women are in Bemidji, Minnesota at 7 and we will know the scores at VB as they will post each one

I’m not sure how the early part of the day will play out. Terry and I disagree about me tearing down the layout and starting over. She says I won’t start another one and truthfully she probably is correct. But doing nothing isn’t helping either.

I see Amazon has to pay out $2.5 billion to settle a deceptive practices case for supposedly getting people to sign up for Prime. Don’t people read the stuff they sign up for. To me it’s like saying be aware coffee is hot when you buy HOT coffee!

Enjoy your day
