We had kerosene central heating, it was priceyGood thing out here in the west is we don’t use heating oil.
I remember as a kid in New England the truck coming to fill the tank. Eventually my dad bought a wood furnace that was hooked to the oil furnace so we could use either. Wood furnace got used a lot more.
Lidl likely has them seasonally and not costing much, but immediately ? Sorry no ideaI need a brush like the attached photo but either narrower so I can stick it in the gap and clean the back wall of the gap or with longer bristles.
It doesn’t have to be exactly like this one. I have one from home depot that has three rows of bristles and that’s fine but the plastic head is too fat to fit in the gap so that the bristles don’t reach the back wall. So either narrower head or linger bristles. Probably like 3/4” or something. Maybe 5/8” would work.
Stainless steel bristles are best but brass would work.
Anyone know where to find something like this as modified above? I’ve searched on amazon but have’s seen anything.
Head can be longer if the bristles can come straight out from the handle like a paintbrush.
I’m trying to clean out some gunk and misapplied waterproofing that went over the gunk I didn’t see at first on our linear drain in our wet room bath.
Thanks

Oh….I had missed that, on reflection I am glad I was not here when it occurred. I liked him.For all the "old timers" here . Today would have been Sherrel Weems's (sirfoldalot) 83rd birthday. Sometimes a FB memory really makes you think of past friends.
If I had that kind of brush and needed it to be thinner.I need a brush like the attached photo but either narrower so I can stick it in the gap and clean the back wall of the gap or with longer bristles.

I can, if I want to live on $1700/month.Sending positive vibes to Terry again. Hopefully you can weather this storm as well. Are you close enough to retirement age to do SocSecurity and be a grumpy greeter at WalMart?
Wouldn't have to pay any income tax!I can, if I want to live on $1700/month.
I'm not sure how that goes in the states or what your work was, but out here, a lot of the positions on base are contracted and a lot of times, a new company picks up the contract. They do try to keep the people in place and try to entice people to switch over to the new contract.we have a mandatory meeting tomorrow before the place opens to tell us how long we have.
The taxes on my house are $8,500.00 a year. That averages out to $708.00 a month. Then $800.00 a month for fuel oil in the winter. That's $1,500.00 a month gone. I couldn't do it. SwalI can, if I want to live on $1700/month.
WOW! For my 1500 sq ft house, 800 sq ft train shed and 15 acres, my taxes are just $795/year! It dropped last year from $815 since the barn was destroyed by the tornado. The taxes on my house are $8,500.00 a year.
