You mean the NMRA Achievement Program?I'm trying to fill out the NMRA Contest paperwork to have my model judged toward earning a certificate. So far, I have spent about 6 hours working on it. One category is conformity of the model to a prototype building. After searching my computer records, I googled "two story brick buildings". Interestingly enough, about 10% of the pictures were of model railroad buildings. I finally settled on a picture of three similar buildings that have about 80% of my building's major details.

Yes, senior moments caused me to dis-remember.You mean the NMRA Achievement Program?
You are going to have to teach that sweet girl's father how to load rock salt shotgun shells in the near future to keep the boys away!Older granddaughter in the train room.
Karl- What did you order if it's not personal?
I was able to minimize the cutting wheels shattering by adding 2 drops of CA to one side of a wheel and adding another wheel to it. But, it’s not a precision cut!Good morning gang!
Knocked out 1 1/2 DCC friendly conversions of Shinohara turnouts last night. One other turnout is done except for the cutting of the frog. I need a new metal cutting disc for my Dremel. Damn wheels shatter too easily!
I will drive till the warning tells me 50, 45 or 40 miles of range is left. Terry is like your mom, if it’s at 1/2 or less the need to find a gas station is urgent. I do wonder how we made it 47 years married and 52 togetherYES, I have to agree!
The Spousal Unit runs around with the "fuel light" on all the time.
I copied that and used really large print and "forced" her to read it - she said that she would try and comply? AND YES, I will still have warm dinner tonight!
My mom was just the opposite; anytime the fuel gauge was down to 1/2 tank, she drove me crazy until I filled it back up!
Looking for 76 with mostly cloudy today!
I sense some yard work on the horizon?
LOL -- I was thinking the same when I saw that photo! She is a doll for sure! You are going to have to teach that sweet girl's father how to load rock salt shotgun shells in the near future to keep the boys away!
Congrats, I know 2 with the MMR designationYes, senior moments caused me to dis-remember.
I finally finished the paperwork and set up a couple people to judge it.
I received more than the 87-1/2 points I needed to get a merit award, working toward a Structures Certificate.
Now, I need to see about building a bridge.
I'm picking these up tomorrowI was able to minimize the cutting wheels shattering by adding 2 drops of CA to one side of a wheel and adding another wheel to it. But, it’s not a precision cut!
If I ever get my keister in gear it might be 3. I already have my Model Railroad Author certificate.Congrats, I know 2 with the MMR designation
Is this the one that was clobbered by the tree? OR am I confused by my age?No, it's not too personal,
No little blue pills, or anything like that.
2K clearcoat paint and a respirator for the little truck, I have some paint repair to complete. The previous owner drove around with the tonneau cover rolled up and resting against the back of the cab. Vibration caused it to rub off a lot of the paint along the back of the cab below the window. Also there is a place of the roof at the 3rd brake light where the factory clearcoat has failed. Finally the weather is cooling enough to allow work in the garage.
I learned years ago to double up on the cutting discs as Tom O suggests. Haven't had one break since except when I dropped the Dremel.I'm picking these up tomorrow
Dremel thin metal cutting discs
I hope so, I like doing deliveries out there in God's country. I enjoy seeing the wildlife in your area. Not so much in the city.Maybe Louis will deliver it?? LOL!
That is an effective way of doing it.I learned years ago to double up on the cutting discs as Tom O suggests. Haven't had one break since except when I dropped the Dremel.
That's because it's different wild life out there.I enjoy seeing the wildlife in your area. Not so much in the city.
Maybe the boys like trains? You are going to have to teach that sweet girl's father how to load rock salt shotgun shells in the near future to keep the boys away!
