Woah. Gender is a personal choice by the individual and has nothing to do with the sex they were born with. Absolutely no need for a white room suggestion
Well, i was raising my exs. daughter as my own, and if some boy wanted to identify as a female and tried to pull that sharing of locker nonsense, i would make sure he'd start identifying himself properly.

Welp... the Lord of the Fuzz has had his monthly injection.

Getting him into the carrier can be a challenge. Once we open the flap in the exam room, and he only pokes his head out about a second. It was challenging getting this shot before he ducked back down.

Also, I finished my Stoneforged giant automaton. He stands 8 inches tall (not the foot I thought). But, with a 38mm tall normal figure, that's tall.

Be careful you and I can easily turn this into something Terry will have to step in on or give me time off because I’m being polite right now
Well said.

Remember. Polytics and Religious discussions are best to have in person over an adult beverage. This isn't the place for them.

Louis,
Out of curiosity, what weight bat did you use? I'm guessing at your size 34/35oz...or heavier?
From Pony League on I used a 36"/36oz Adirondack. I was 6'8" my first year of Pony League. After Rawlings bought Adirondack, they didn't make it anymore. I had to order 36"/35oz Rawlings/Adirondack bats. The last dozen I bought only cost $210 and they gave me a free one! I liked the length to reach the breaking ball down and away with two strikes. I hated going down looking; if it was close I was swinging with two strikes. Put the ball in play; something good might happen. I hit many balls over the right side of the infield with two strikes.

The weight, 36/35oz was good for me as a line drive hitter. I didn't believe in swinging for the fences. If you barrel the ball up it will go. And fly balls are easier to catch than line drives. You can run under a fly ball, not a line drive. Even if I hit an "Atom" ball there was a chance the spin would fool the fielder.

Modern baseball has moved towards lighter bats to generate higher bat speeds. And more strikeouts! The Blue Jays are a contact team. When they are "seeing" the ball well they hit their share of homeruns.

Hallelujah and rejoice, my wife doesn't need surgery!

the linea alba stretched creating a gap. This condition is called diastasis recti It is likely been like that since she gave childbirth. The ER doctor was correct to refer her to the surgeon, but nothing needs to be done. Thank God!

The Blue Jays’ rookie sensation struck out 12 over seven innings in World Series Game 5 on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, setting the all-time rookie record for strikeouts in a Fall Classic game once held by Don Newcombe of the 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers (11).

I prefer a more contested game, but the Blue Jays' 22-year-old rookie Trey Yesavage made last night's game interesting to watch. After the first inning Blake Snell settled down to pitch a good game.

Friday Yoshi takes the ball for the Dodgers. If I were a betting man, I would not miss betting on this one!

You’d have been surprised. There have been pedos and stuff since forever.

As a kid in Arizona in the early 70s I had a guy in a van try and lure me away with candy. And I heard a few other stories — probably meant to scare me away from doing stupid things like wander off — in that general realm.
I grew up in a conservative German neighborhood where I'm from. If anything like that would have happened I'm sure me and everyone else would have heard about it, and then no one would have ever seen that individual again.

Yepper, same here. All those clowns either hid or were pretty much non-existent. The retaliation from normal folks would have been immediate. I grew up in Poland, and people were expected to go to work and act normal.

Whew!
I just dropped the last of 125 figures in the painted jar.
As I said before, the Oriental figures usually need some work for my critical eye.

This is a sample from the next batch to be worked on. Yes, even the sheep needs a little weathering. Half the figures do not have faces and bad, black hair cuts.

I love the different color plastic base colors to give a variety of characters. One thing is that all my painted figures are now custom dressed by me as shown in the net photo.

My arteeestic skills are not great, especially in the wee hours of the morning when I can't sleep. However, I think my painted figures below are better dressed than the imported immigrants above. Even my cow is not a plain Jane. Notice not a single lavender or purple article of clothing in this picture. I am not as steady as I should be when painting ladies shoes.
As much as I complain, I still enjoy painting my own unique figures.
No, I do not take figure painting commissions in case any one would ask!

No kids around here though. All have grown and left their parents homes. Lot of folks my age in the neighborhood with some exceptions.
When my wife an I bought our house 22 years ago we were the youngest on our street. Less than a dozen or so the entire night would stop. Over time the demographics of the neighborhood has started to swing the other way as time is taking a lot of those neighbors away. The last couple of years we have seen a pretty good increase in the numbers as now younger families are buying those houses with kids.

You’d be surprised. Both Poland and Germany were not immune to child sexual abuse in the second half of the 20th century. Like in the U.S. and every other country.

It’s not necessarily the neighbor in your neighborhood.

A quick search found this. Similar stuff for Germany.

Great news LOUIS !

Next thing you will be standing on your porch yelling "get off my lawn!" :D ;)

I’ve been at the bench and had to stop and start to clean and re-organize it. It’s a friggin mess! The last 3 weeks I’ve worked on a Swing Bridge, multiple girder bridges both single and double track. Fixed a single track truss? bridge and started weathering it. Finally got to what I probably have loved the most or at least enjoyed the most weathering of models. Some sprayed Arcylics, hand brushed oils and finally pan pastels. Maybe by bedtime I’ll have the bench straightened out

I'm envious, you have more space for your workbench than I do for my entire layout!

I don't doubt it, but indecent behavior wasn't as rampant as here in the US. You could go to the store late in the evening without worrying about getting raped or killed. Kids were playing by themselves all the time, i know, i grew up there. We were sometimes gone all day, came back late in the evening and it was alright. What's going on in the so called "free world" is on a completely different level.
