Had my grandkids yesterday. One mower is down for the season, the other one held ready in case I needed to cut again. The snow thrower pre-serviced and ready. May try one last cut today. Also going out to holy Hill for some fall pics of the leaves. We got better fall colors this year than in a good while!
Had a friend, Brian Allen, post pictures of Holy Hill Balsilca last week. The credit on each photo.

I have been there in the Spring but will make sure we get there next Fall.

I've been listening to and enjoying Winwood since the mid-60's when he was the singer/organist for Spencer Davis. I tolerated McDonald when he was with Steely Dan and the Doobies, but I basically don't like him. REO's singer if he is still the same one (Kevin Cronin), talks too much between songs and I don't like much of their material. I like most iterations of Fleetwood Mac and can listen to all of them and usually enjoy thier music. Too bad you missed Frampton, he still can play guitar extremely well. He's in my top five. But he is no longer the pretty boy of the 60's and 70's that he once was. Not that it mattered to me.
Yes Kevin is still with REO or was when we last saw them before the Covid shutdown in 2020. His brother Sean Cronin was the chief meteorlogist at WAOW TV Wausau Wi for years in the 80’s and 90’s and REO would come and play at the Speedway every couple years. Cheaply too.

Willie, you might be the only person who has ever agreed with me. Kevin wouldn’t shut up between songs. I bet they could have played 3 more songs at least.

I enjoy listening to Fleetwood Mac now but not back in the day!

Even at that Paris is a joy. Spoiled barely getting old folks
Yes, if your a tourist, our job is a little more complicated, if travelling by coach, parking permits are required anywhere interesting, that is if your allowed to park there, most times we have to "drop and go" and find parking somewhere else, which can take + - an hour to find, then make it back through traffic for the agreed pick up time.
But on this trip I had other thing to deal with than the usual passenger problems, and honestly, not the time either.

I've been to Paris maybe 20-25 times, I really enjoy it on the whole, it's much easier to get around than say, London, which has especially in recent years not only turned into a "slow-go" city, but is also a green city, so only vehicles fitted with a SCR system are allowed in or face a £1000,00 fine if not, and a conversion to a SCR system for a coach runs around £10-15000.00 per vehicle.

Socks on the wrong feet?

Wellllllll.... who's feet did you put them on?

Good Sunday morning from mid-America. it is 56 heading to possibly 80. Absolutely no mention of Indian summer, is that a PC thing now? The grass was cut in under 2 hours and I processed the whole set of lawns around the house. Upped the speed and finished quicker then ever before and still had time before the grandkids arrived yesterday. It looked beautiful for a few hours but with the wind blowing in the teens it didn’t take long for the leaves to come back. That’s ok though, the grass is at 3” for it’s Winter’s rest and I am not cutting until Springtime.

The grandkids yesterday. We had some swim time, went down to the stables to feed some apples to grand mom’s horses, took the ATV for a ride around (great time filler) and played a couple board games. They left at 7:20pm and while I thought of hitting up the train room, my chair in the cave is where I went. Hit the sack at midnight and had a decent sleep, up at 5:20 and swimming at 5:30.

I am not exactly sure yet what I want to do. Dinner at 6:30 is an invite out but my diet the last couple days is out of whack. So I might decline but will decide that later.

enjoy the day
yes, Troy & Terry- inquiring minds what to know these things. 😂
Tom O- Indian Summer? That was a classic 90's film starring Alan Arkin, Bill Paxton, Diane Lane, Kimberly Williams (pre-adding the Paisley name) & an ensemble cast of mid-20's to mid-30's returning to the Canadian summer camp of their youth, before its rumored closing.

Long weekend.... It was our local club's annual show in Marshfield (next year will be our 20th show & the club's 40th Anniversary). The wife had a table set up to sell her ornaments. She sold about 2 dozen ornaments this weekend, which basically made her aboot the same money as if she would have worked both days. I picked up 2 more 40' well cars and a half dozen containers to go with. I also fell behind with my online classes, because I had issues downloading the required eBooks for both classes. Once I did the required readings & assignments, I finally finished around 4 am this morning.

How depressing! I walked into the living room and I see that the Hallmark Channel is already showing Christmas movies! Where's my Prozac? Appropriately enough they went to a commercial for a bipolar depression relief medication.
That's what happens when you take the tinfoil off your head. Big Tech(& Big Brother) starts reading your mind- often before you even think the thoughts that you thought you thunk.

I get the guy mixed up with Peter Gabriel. Foreigner in concert do a 15 minute Jute Box Hero with Wole Lotta Love mixed in. I though the Fleetwood Mac concert ended with Cal Marching Band but I didn't stay up long enough to see it.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is quite a prolific composer, he's composed 22 musicals and still counting
I agree. I have a separate play list for showtunes & I have several ALW songs saved, like Music Of The Night, Memory and Hosanna. When our HS band took a trip to England back in 1988, the bus tour guide pointed out his London home. When we saw Me And My Girl on London's West End, Phantom was playing across the street,
