For a little regional airport
-albeit with a Nat'l Guard Fighter Air Wing based there
Fort Wayne is GROWING it's airport. We're in a multi-year renovation and expansion phase.

And there is a cute little display of "Welcome to Fort Wayne" with an old suitcase from the 1960s that they keep filled with the cookies. Grab one as you exit the security zone.

Fort Wayne is the 2nd largest/most populated city in Indiana. We're at just over a quarter million people (about 260K). For Comparison, Indianapolis is approx 900K. Evansville (in the toe of the boot of Indiana) is half our size. And we have a long runway, an International designation, but a small terminal with only 10 gates, three of which are still getting renovated/expanded.

I was actually surprised that long term parking was near full when we flew out last week. Looks like they're adding a second, larger long-term parking lot as part of the expansion.

Our little airport is growing up.
There are ten gates? I’ve not been in 6 years but I only remember about 6 gates.

They didn’t have the suitcase with cookies when I was there. I was told about the cookies and greeters but getting in at midnight you miss out.

I did watch a bunch of A-10s land last time I was there. It was pretty cool because being a small airport you were pretty close to the runway area.

And the security line was wicked easy.

These are knives/bayonets. Flawless feedback & detailed photos is not what a scammer would have or do.

Also, if there was anything shady it would be or had been taken to GB admins and the listing would be taken down and the account deleted.
Gonna try this again.
People are expecting to be screwed based on their previous experiences on the Web, and will ask a question in ten different ways to make sure they are seeing what they’re getting. It doesn’t matter if a site is the most honest and ethical place next to God himself, people think they’re going to be stolen from and will ask a million stupid questions because of their past experiences.

Ok, I get your point.;) It's usually the guys that still have an AOL email account.

Hello from a snow is coming down So Central Wisconsin but thankfully hits the ground and melts. I’m trying to watch the trrrible Wisconsin football team on the Big Ten network but it’s hard

The grandson’s hockey team won again. Down 0-2 minutes into the game we could hear the goalie during the other team’s injury timeout yelling at her team to get out of her sight lines. She is the lone budette among the 3 buddies that play hockey on the same team and we see a lot of. She is feisty but usually quiet, not today though. One of the buddies went down and scored, the grandson on a short handed goal and the 3rd buddy scoring just before intermission with one of the nicest goals I’ve seen not scored by one of our kids or the grandson. Up 3-2 at 1st intermission. Nothing in the second period. They won 7-2 with the grandson getting a hat trick. Nice game

I napped around 2 for maybe 20 minutes. Then started on the slot car track designs. The Austin,Texas Circuit of America is a big track.

The other track the daughter’s friend wants for her son is Watkins Glenn in NY.

The Texas track will be built to fit a 30x40 area part of a finished basement of the daughter. The NY track will be built in a 30’ x 60’ unused area of the finished the friend’s basement.

I have been to the F1 races in Austin 3 times since it opened in 2012. The big rise up the straight to the small hairpin turn is a must, it’s T11 on the map. I went to a NASCAR race at Watkins Glen in the 1990’s but nothing is memorable to use for this design.

Enjoy the evening

Brand new junker is in my garage:

2003 VW Golf. Of course i have to do some work on it because the young kids put wrong parts on it, specifically the lower control arms:

Just took one out and proper control arms are on order. The ones they put on were from different model Golf and the sway bar had nothing to bolt to, instead it was hitting the control arms on every bump. I'm done for today, and of course Garage Latin was used interchangeably with English and Polish.

Caps lost a feisty contest in Tampa FL 3-2....Devils beat Pittsburgh 2-1 in a Shootout. Boston beat Toronto on HNI, 5-3. Think the Buds are missing Marner, eh?
Villanova Football beat Towson State 28 -10, Basketball, beat Queens (NC) 94 - 74; and Tide is rolling over LSU, 176971.36 - 9 with 9:53 left in the 4th.

I found time to set out two trains for tomorrow operation

Looking at.... Medicare D plans for next year, costs have gone up a heap. Including premiums, deductibles and co pays. The threshold for out of pocket cost max goes up from $2K to $2100. Of course with 30 days of Rinvoq going for $ 6971.36. wife's Threshold will be reached the first month. Trelegy Ellipta goes from $40 / month to $140.32 / month. Current plan's monthly premium goes up $52/month each.
