Bought this the other week. Sooo nice! All plywood and studded out on 16 inch centers. Moved all the yard stuffs from the garage to it. I’m going to build a cupola for it soon.

Rgeiter I see the house rain gutters are up there aways. I'm about to clean out our gutters but don't see many trees in the photo for you to worry about that. Swal

Went to the grocery store earlier today to pick up Thanksgiving dinner items. It looks like we will have around 20 or so people. Not our biggest bunch, but still sizeable. The wife has a 2-page list which included our weekly meals $305.00 was the tally and that didn't include the turkey or the breast. We bought that last week on sale. The receipt was 2 feet long!

George - MOH says that those cabinets are exactly like the ones that she is planning on.
HER remodeling extravaganza will not take place until after Christmas.
EEEEK! - I am looking so forward to the mess! We have the stove (48"/6 burnner) and hood and parts including sink and all attachments already stored in the garage.

I am not looking forward to the mess!

Sherrel when I was in the Marines we spent 2 weeks in 3 different cities. The thing that amazed me was how they had large lead weights with cables attached keeping the Tower of Pizza from tipping over. I guess there gone now.

George. There are no weights there now.

Italy is a favourite country of ours. Love the scenery, the food, the wine.

Sherrel there not the standard cabinets sold by different outlets. I had them custom made by a friend of mine I play golf with,
I like the hardware he used. Just give the draw of door a slight push and it closes on its own. Yes the place is a constant mess until the project is completed.

Ahhhh... smell that....

Smells like the Yule season is upon us...

I always regarded Turkey day as a warm-up/practice holiday for the Yuletide ones (whichever you celebrate).

During the Covid lockdown era, wife and I managed to get only meager gatherings, except for her mother's Turkey and Xmas day. BUT with her mother know in the Senior Living apartment home, the great-grandkids are starting to miss the traditions.

One of the local ones (wife's grand-niece) was plotting to take in crock pots full of food to GGrandma's tiny apartment with a bar sink and college dorm-sized fridge...

So, the wife volunteered our place. Near as I can figure, we're good up to about 10 people total. (Wife and I plus 8). We'll have 9 that day. And that's only TWO of the great-grandkids, with one fiance, one child, Sis-in-law and her partner, and wife's mother. I half expect a few others to show up unannounced. We don't have folding TV trays, so they'll be balancing plates on their laps. We don't have a dog, either, so they'll have to clean up anything they spill.

I need to call the eye doc this morning. Had pressure in one of my eyes most of the weekend, and seeing extra floaters. I'll let you know how that goes.
I loved the first part of your post!

I'm sorry to hear about this part, "I need to call the eye doc this morning. Had pressure in one of my eyes most of the weekend, and seeing extra floaters. I'll let you know how that goes." I hope all goes well.

Mike, Troy, and anyone else having a big Thanksgiving gathering, enjoy it. One day they will stop coming. This year my daughters are cooking thier own Thanksgiving meals. We will only have my son and his wife this year. That won't stop me from roasting a 23lb turkey!

I picked up a case of Miller beer, a bottle of Evan WIlliams Burbon and a bottle of Paul Masson Peach Brandy to have over the holidays. Anyone thirsty or hungry stop by.

Willie and Patrick, I like how your wives think, tell them I said Merry Christmas!

Afternoon All,

Starting out this morning there was heavy fog and around 62F. I did chores all morning. Dad bought hot dogs for lunch. He likes Oscar Meyer but I find them tasteless. After lunch I drove down to the LHS and got a piece of N scale flex track. After getting home I cut 2-8" lengths and spray painted them black.

Yesterday we picked up the van which surprised me. We fiddled with the HOA lights, but no joy. That side will probably have to be redone after Thanksgiving. Speaking of, we will have 8 people here. Of course, everyone is invited.

Karl- Very nice WM picture.

David- They look fine to me in your photo. Best wishes for Dawn.

Roger- Nice shed.

Troy- Good luck with the eyes. I have a floater in my right eye that started about 2 months ago. The eye pressure does not sound good.

Chad- It looks like you're making slow but sure progress.

Sherrel- I hope your back feels better. Been there, done that, have the trophy.

migalyto- So it was the length of a normal CVS one? :D

I hope everyone has a good night.
