Good Morning All. Clear, sunny and 63°. Nothing new in the forecast, 86° today, rain and 60° tomorrow. I'll be bringing in dry firewood today.
Not a lot going on around here right now, since mowing is at a standstill again, I have just been trimming some of those trees that the neighbor left me.
Out in the train shed yesterday, I puttered around with figures on a Hydrocal model from Downtown Deco. I added four more to the scene.
Before:
Added a transient to one side.
A gentleman waiting to cross the road.
A bar patron.
And a passerby.
I didn't spend all of my time on figures, I picked up another structure that I was going to add them to and remembered that I stopped rehabbing it last summer for some reason. It is Garner's Market, a laser-cut wood structure that I got from
Chet.
At the time, I repaired some damage that was incurred during the shipment down from Montana, mostly minor stuff like repairing the outside stairway and reattaching the signs and trim. What I didn't address at the time was the roof.
A bit too concave for my liking. Mostly it is well glued in place and the trim kept me from removing it, but I was able to separate the building from the base to access it from inside. Imagine my surprise when I found a second floor on the interior.
I am not too sure that I can make good use of this feature, but I will be thinking about it.
Right now I just need to add bracing underneath.
Bill - Is that you or a relative in front of the Boyleston Station?
Joe - That bus driver falling asleep could have been a really serious issue had there been kids on the bus or if it was anywhere else. Too bad for the homeowner having to move out.
Stock Market seems to be doing well this month. So far I have erased my October losses. It's actually been a good year up until October.
Everybody have a great day today and every day.
