Here are are couple pics from the guy painting my N Scale locomotives.

This first one is an Atlas MP15 that was an undecorated shell. Ohio Central had a a SW1500 that looked a lot like this one. Even had the same road number.

This next one is a Dash8 which was also an undecorated shell from Atlas. OHCR never had any Dash 8's but they did have a few SD40T-2 which are just about the same size. This one will be my primary mover.

Hoping to get delivery by the end of the week!!

Good evening from a house in partial mourning. Terry’s football team, the Packers, showed up in Detroit but have lost 5 in a row now. It was so bad after the game Terry said pick a restaurant and let’s go! We don’t even generally on Sunday eat dinner together let alone go out during the NFL season.

I just awoke from a late nap!

I sold a few more pieces of rolling stock and now have 6 for sure maybe 7 things for the post office on Monday. Waiting for payment on #7, but all are packed. The guy who purchased my last brass steam locomotive asked if I had any other brass, I do but diesels. Sent him pictures and a list of 5 shelf queens that I haven’t even had out of the boxes and the storage bins since 2014 when we moved from North Central Wisconsin. I have a tendency to forget I even have these. He is working up a price and I was working on researching prices before my unexpected nap kicked in. All SP diesels, SD7’s and SD9’s and the foam in the boxes was disintegrated when I opened them up. Thankfully wrapped in plastic so no glued foam to the body. No, I didn’t try to run them. I am sure they are gummed up. I have one SP brass caboose remaining but it will forever stay here as it was the second train gift but 1st train gift as a married couple from my wife.

I got 8‘ of code 83 laid today, both rails down. Now have 61’ down and about 23’ to go.

enjoy the evening

Patrick - I discovered one day that we have heated seats on our Accura RDX. Never knew it until I accidentally turned one on. I thought that there was a fire under the car!

Heated seats are great, but in my car, I never turn them on until the EV part of the car has a depleted battery, as the heated seats really kill the range, and with my PHEV, I don't have a lot of range to begin with, but I need to make the best use of it due to the price of gas, than burning my behind. But once the battery is down and we switch to gas mode all bets are off... (I try and avoid A/C and heater when in EV mode anyway for the same reason unless others are in the car or I am only going a few miles and can recharge again before needing to drive a longer distance)

Reminds me of the Navy - Notre Dame game at Philadelphia in the old Municipal Stadium, in 1962. We had tickets, and my left foot was in a plaster cast (Broken foot from sandlot football). Gameday weather was a full blown Noreaster, so I couldn't go for obvious reasons. The entire game was played in a complete downpour, and the winds brought down the old style wooden goal post on one end of the stadium. Should have been rescheduled, but back then the game must be played.
Good ol' JFK, before it was called JFK.

I don't care if you use an iPhone (Apple) or not. But I have a hard time understanding what this statement even means? Apple's system is the one system not compromised.
I think it is a common misconception that apple phones are made in China. Unless you include Taiwan, I don't know of anything apple has being made in China.

Taiwan is most certainly not colluding with the people's republic of China.

OK, none of those around. Safeway, I think, is an Albertson's store, so the Acme may have them around here. I have never seen them in Stop and Shop, or ShopRite.
Acme website shows this brand.
I would think all major stores would stock them.

At our stores they are in a separate freezer on and endcap. We always buy from Redners because they have a private label that has five loaves in the pack.

I really hope you see this post. I will miss you if you don't come back.

Several of our cars have had heated seats, and as we usually have no issues with the fuel costs when diesal or petrol and now electric we use them I find one bar is plenty and once warm turn it off,so I get the advantage but avoid leaving it on, the security camera eats electricity by comparison, but we leave it on also.
