You are correct. Apologies for the confusion.

Resin just needs proper care. It's easy to develop skin sensitivity to it. I've got a spot on my right wrist that acts up if I'm exposed to contact with it.

Normally, it's mostly the IPA (Alcohol) that we rinse the 3D resin models in that have the worst effects. That spot on my wrist developed sensitivity because my Nitrile gloves didn't cover the wrist where my arm would touch the top of the rinse vat.

Here's my resin set up. The black Wedge attached to the hose is a vent hood. The white hose drops down to behind the resin printer. That one does NOT have vent on it, so I keep the vent hose close to the pinter.

To the left of the printer is the three part rinse station. Prints get dropped into the small container front left. It has an internal basket. Swish that around to remove the majority of the resin on the model. Then into the metal basket (left of the tall white tub), Prints go into the tall white tube, which has an impeller in the bottom, and that circulates the IPA for 2.5 minutes.

After that, the basket of prints is removed. I dump them into the short white tub to the far left, which is full of HOT water from the kettle. Let them sit in that for 2-3 minutes to soften the supports for easier removal. Then onto the paper towels to dry. Once dry they go into the UV Light chamber (yellow hood). 2 minutes exposed to UV cures any residual surface resin that might not have totally cured during the printing.

Oh, and the short tub next to the printer (with the purple lid) is where I place the build plate after removing the models from it. That tub, too, has IPA. While the prints are rinsing in the big tub, I use paper towels to clean excess resin from the build plate, before remounting it in the print.
That's an awesome set up! I like that 1/4 scale range guard! Maybe get some playtex gloves? Do they still make those?

Yeah, I don't have the space for a resin printer. Maybe after I kick the kids out... :)

Yes, I found reusable long gloves made of nitrile. I only use the right one (right handed) and I want the tactile sensations in my left, that double gloving the right hand (short, and the long one) is missing.

Well, it's a cold, rainy, blustery day. Gauge in the shed is ready 13 degrees C at 85% humidity. Slept in a little since staying up to past 1am last night waiting for that print to complete so I could close the window.

Trying to make up my mind on whether or not to go to the base for food or not. I use Glaco (Japan version of rain-x) on my windshield and barely use my wipers anymore as they seem to be too distracting for me now. Need to concentrate on the road more.

I remember driving from Rockville, MD to Nashville, TN and it rained the entire time. The rain-x did a good job on that trip.

The sun actually made an appearance at sunset. The current 68 ° is the days high temperature. The ocean is still cold, and the on shore wind kept the temperatures in the 50s a good part of the day. I actually turned the heat on, to dry the dampness and warm the house. The inside temperature was 63° at the time. This was the latest I have run the heat in the 39 years we have lived here.

Hello from Sapporo. We flew on Skymark last night from Tokyo to Sapporo. Once in Sapporo we took an airport bus to our hotel. It was like 90 minutes (our hotel was last stop) and o think longer than the flight.

Gray overcast (the kind where you don’t see puffy clouds. Just gray sky) and low 70s. No rain or gale here that I can tell looking out the window.

It’s 10:18. The hotel breakfast finished at 9:30 though it was closer To 9:45am when I wandered back up to the room. Wife is doing laundry at a nearby coin laundry and daughter is doing some school work. I’m going to take a nap. This is a Japanese hotel and not a Hilton. Beds are not the most comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good though. Not quite Hilton but close and cheaper. More variety of food categories. Some categories more lean in variety inside the category.

One more night here then we move to Otaru, which is near by.

More later. I’m tired.

Since we hadn't heard from you in a while, I thought you lost yourself in Akihabara! I took my wife there once. She said never again as I just kept going from one place to another. She said I was too single minded over there. Yep yep yep. :)
I was only at Akihabara for an hour at most. I went to the capsule store and got a few "desk toys" and then went to the Poppondetta used store on the floor right above it and looked around. As I don't speak Japanese it was hard to see what I was looking at. The complete sets and boxed items almost looked priced at new. The individual cars and power cars and locomotives in the bags were priced "high" but all looked to be in very good shape and if you needed something for a specific train or era it would be a good place to look. I didn't buy anything.

Except for Yodobashi Camera, most of the stored didn't open until 11am and I had to be on my way by 12 noon for a lunch appointment at 12:30pm in Ebisu so I didn't have much time.

I have a bunch of photos etc to post, but later. I need to catch up on a few "work" related items. We're kind of chilling today in Sapporo. We have to leave in 3 hours for an appointment and to meet the mission president of my son over in Otaru. We're all tired from the GO GO GO of the last few days so after breakfast I took a nap, the wife did some laundry, and the daughter worked on her school work. We've just been chilling in the room. The wife and daughter just left to find some junk food at a convenience store...

Well, the NJ DMV and State Police put out a detailed warning today about it. Same identical notice as you posted, but with NJ DMV logo on it, so it's extensive and they are relentless, per NJSP.
It is happening in Maryland too!
