@westtexjohn, sorry to hear you're feeling this way. I don't know any specifics about you and 77 is different for everybody but on balance 77 isn't as old as it was even a few decades ago.

I hope this is just a "bad day" for you (we all have them) and you feel better soon :)

If not... maybe talk to someone about it... mental health is just health. The brain is just another organ that sometimes needs some work :D

Went to the local nursery today.

No doubt which Team they support.

As nice as vacations are, Its always good to come home!

by the photos you shared, it looks like it was a great trip!
All in all good trip. Been decades since my wife or I been up that way. I think I was 6-7 years old and wife she said she was probably 3-4.

We had wind one day at the campgrounds and we were tucked up against some pine trees but a few times the wind rocked the camper. We both looked at each other but didn't say anything.

On our trip we seen deer, antelope, buffalo, and course the ever present prairie dogs.

You're right nice to be on vacation but a trip like that the return trip always seems to take twice as long. Then throw crazy weather in the mix and it gets a little stressful.

Glad everyone like the pictures I shared and we look forward to the next trip. Eastern Wyoming (devils tower) and then into the Black Hills (didn't get there this trip. We love vacationing in the Wyoming, Montana, South and North Dakota areas. So much history. Lots of fun.

Good morning from windy again Wisconsin. My walking outside to start the day has ended for the next month or so. Bad weather is expected tomorrow morning so the treadmill walking will start a day earlier than planned. The brother’s Vegas place, hotels and the place in Maui have the walk on but go nowhere machines. The golf course my brother is on in Maui discourages non golfing walkers due to insurance liability. When i was last there though they were talking about a walking path. Based on the golf course views that would be a gorgeous place to walk. The paths here are for golf carts

Those pictures are all from the course. It would take awhile to adjust to the elevation changes
You sure those pictures are not from your Hawaii trip? Wow!

Oh, they are. Just gotta learn how to read...

Looks like I came to Gettysburg too early

Excursion train coming soon (mid this year)

Oh, well. An excuse to come back.
I don't know if it's the same owners, but their locomotive had a boiler explosion some years ago. The investigation was very critical of their maintenance and safety policies, and was the main reason there was a museum excursion insurance crisis.

Gotta love trains especially model railroads. I'll stop at anything trains.

Have a lot more pictures of this layout but that's enough to give you an idea of how big it is. I talked to a gentleman that came downstairs and it's a club that meets about once or twice a month (small group) and he only does the electrical. He told me the layout is mostly DC with a two track main and it looked to me like a dog bone configuration. Took lots of pictures for future ideas.
