Cashews are my go-to snack too! Wife buys the big tub of Planters at Sam's Club. I walk by the cabinet several times a day and grab a big handful. All the errands are run
Below is what the wife needs to have a good weekend (if you add in the watermelon)
The brisket and the purchase below will give me a good weekend
Yea! The containers were an exceptional deal as well. I didn't get any. ScaleTrains is getting the bulk of the rest of the year's hobby budget with AC4400s, and BNSF reefers coming out this year.Great Mike, glad my note helped. I looked and even though I have my list of “need“ things it is mostly supplies this time around.
I did sent it to 2 weathering clients I have been doing containers for. They both informed me the containers are great deals
You do you just don’t realize it. Not big dookies but small possibly half rotted ones. rat/mice and other small animal ones where you don’t see them. That sort of thing.
It may not stink but is still poop full of foreign bacteria.Yeah, well.. the poop I walk in doesn't stink.
Love Cashews BUT so does my Parrot so I am forced to share. My Parrot has expensive tastes Cashews, Walnuts, Grapefruit, Pizza, Fish Fry's etc etc etcCashews are my go-to snack too! Wife buys the big tub of Planters at Sam's Club. I walk by the cabinet several times a day and grab a big handful.
Speaking of nuts... I've been on a toasted walnut kick for a few months. A discount grocer here called "Marc's" has 1-pund bags of walnuts for $3.99 a bag. I bought a dozen bags and still have 1 or 2 left in the freezer.
Toss in some melted butter, sprinkle on some finely ground salt, and put in the oven at $325 for 9 minutes. Really good! And they are one of the best heart healthy snacks there is!
Oh I know. Both of our labs love cashews. It doesn't matter how stealthy you go to the cabinet. They hear that lid screwing off, and they are under your feet no matter where in the house they are!Love Cashews BUT so does my Parrot so I am forced to share. Yes, walnuts can have a pretty heavy flavor, but toasting them mellows it out quite a bit. for a full pound of walnuts, I melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a bowl big enough to contain the nuts and toss them in it as well. While tossing in the bowl, sprinkle with finely ground salt (I use a mortar and Pestle, but you can buy "popcorn" salt that is already finely ground. I probably sprinkle on a teaspoon of ground salt as I'm tossing it.Walnuts are really healthy.
Unfortunately they are one of my least favorite nuts. I do eat them but don't choose them. I'd rather have almonds or cashews or other nuts. I'll hav eto try your roasting method!

I always hated walnuts until I tried some of these toasted ones.
I also received an e-mail yesterday saying Tower Hobbies has merged with Horizon Hobbies.
Have you tried the salt and vinegar pistachios? After those, I have a strange craving for a glass of wine and a cigarette...Speaking of nuts.
The Blue Diamond dry roasted Almonds of the "Wasabi Soy Sauce" variety are to die for.
trust me
