Good Morning All. Clear and 62°, thunderstorms are still in the forecast today through Wednesday although yesterday's didn't materialize.
I did the usual Saturday chores around here yesterday, usual for being chores, not confined to Saturday. Mowed the SE part of the yard over the septic tank and lateral lines, did laundry, and made an unplanned trip to town. On Thursday, I forgot to take the sample of pool water in to be tested, so I did that yesterday. Mostly OK, but I had to buy some stabilizer to add. I knew this already, but just didn't know how much.
Not much time out in the train shed yesterday. I did add a few more trees, but I ended up running trains mostly. I'm kinda putting off getting out the weed material, as it is a pain to add. Maybe today. Meanwhile more pictures from the archives.

Louis - Good news about your friend Willy.
Chris - Good luck with the rewiring.
Patrick - Leave the corn alone. these kinds of events strengthen it for the future.
Tony - Respectfully disagree, steaks should be medium rare, closer to the rare side!
Today is National Cheese Day. I love cheese of all kinds. My cheese drawer is always overflowing. I took a look in the fridge and started counting. I have Swiss, Provolone, Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, White Cheddar, Irish Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Brick, Mozzarella, Muenster, American slices, Blue Cheese, Parmesan, Colby, Romano, Gouda, Cream Cheese, Pepper Jack, Asiago, Ricotta, Havarti, Brie, and probably a few others that I can't dig out right now. That's over 20, maybe more if I count Cottage Cheese.
Everybody have a great Sunday.
