It's after lunch, I managed to maintain my current level at the rehab...The staff at Ocean MC @ Jackson is top shelf. They know their stuff and make Rehab fun, not a burden. Gonna miss going but at the same time, It will be good to be finished. One More to go,

Mid day weather is cloudy and very humid. 78°. Warm enough to activate the air conditioning. Rain and Thunder expected between 1500 and 1800, per Sam the CH 7 Weatherman...

Traffic in Philadelphia is so screwed up from yesterdays gasoline truck fire / I-95 bridge collapse, that it made New York News at Noon. CH 7, the ABC/Disney affiliate is really embellishing certain stories today....bad enough the bare facts are bad, but don't dramatize everything.

In International News, Media Mogul and Infamous Politician Silvio Berlusconi has passed at 86. I first began following his antics back in the early 2000s, in the "Econoist", while he was Italy's PM...My impression was that nothing ever phased him. RIP.

Sherrel: Yeah, coal fired has undesired consequences for those exposed to steam locomotion. I learned that, first in the Army at Ft. Eustis, and later in life when required to babysit th American Freedom Train's ex Reading T-1 4-8-4 2100.

Louis: You're right.

Next, I have to renew my car registration. NJMVC has a good o line site to expedite this task.

Just noticed a PM.....maybe a cease and desist order, or I've been cancelled.

EDIT: It was a message from another of our colleagues temporarily exiled over the situation.

Tony's post is old news. It is time to move on. Quit beating a dead horse.

For those of you who let your feelings hang out, they will be stepped on. Blame yourselves, not others.

When someone uses a word in reference to a certain subject/topic do not take it out of context and turn it into something it is not.

We are all different individuals but share a common thread of model railroading. Thus we may have differing views on the the other issues in todays world. Just keep it in "generalities" and try not to offend others on this forum. Remember most folks would rather hear GOOD news not sarcasm or "negative waves".

Life can be as simple or complicated as YOU want to make it.

Just my thoughts. Everybody have a great day. Tell a friend/loved one you appreciate who they are.

John

Smudge -- I think the answer here is to have ask WILLIE creat a duplicate thread and use the "copy and paste" function to post in both threads.
Personally - I just like to look at the "Coffee Shop" mostly and some days I do not look at other posts, but that's just me.
I cannot quite figure out that asking WILLIE to have all his posts in a single thread is going to help you find a specific post - there will still be hundreds to look through - one for each day?
You know, forget I ever mentioned it. 🙂

Back again...it's one of those days, eh?...what I wanted to share was that when I completed the registration renewal transaction for my car, I was able to download the new registration card. I can also download it to my phone. They are also mailing me a copy, just in case I am challenged. Big change from the days not long ago, when cops carried rulers, to measure the mandatory Insurance cards. If your insurer sent you a printed card that deviated from the legally prescribed dimensions, you could be fined and assessed points...Jersey loved to run fund raisers like that...

Oh, Oh, Oh -- Should put my pic of #473 in the Front End Friday as well?

Walmart was swamped this morning .. I managed to exit the store with FOUR of their "plastic" bags after spending $103.00 .. EKK! For examples: A box of Saltine crackers $2.58 a year ago is now $3.82; even their name brand frozen veggies - last year $1.00 now $1.32.
AND WM is cheaper than the chain groceries.
