Oh, Oh, Oh -- Should put my pic of #473 in the Front End Friday as well?

Walmart was swamped this morning .. I managed to exit the store with FOUR of their "plastic" bags after spending $103.00 .. EKK! For examples: A box of Saltine crackers $2.58 a year ago is now $3.82; even their name brand frozen veggies - last year $1.00 now $1.32.
AND WM is cheaper than the chain groceries.
I picked out several great deals. Of the 10+ items, I picked up one! One item and it was not what I ordered it was a substitute! The boy tells me "We just stocked the shelves, you can go in and look if you want" If I had time and wanted to look, I would not have placed an order for curb side pickup! Great management team. That is what I call a well-trained associate. I thanked him politely; it was not his fault.

My wife and I went to Aldi. I'm starting to love Aldi.

I am going to Defy the Edict and post a RR photo.

Well actually it is a picture of a RoadRunner that came to visit me one morning, Contrary to Popular cartoon, they fly very well, and do not make the sound "Meep Meep".

White and orange scheme...Classic BCFD. A ¾ view of the Seagrave in the background would be great...Truck Company?
I don't know the truck company. I found the photo with Bing. All it said was Baltimore City Fire Department 1970s

Somewhere I have an O scale 1914 or so Cadillac Baltimore City Fire Truck. I bought two. I gave one to my nephew, he is a lieutenant in the Baltimore City Fire Department. I can't find a photo. I paid nearly $40 for each. They are nice looking. That is how I found this one.

I like fire trucks.

James Gardner was one of my favs
My Mom liked him too.
We used to watch the Rockford Files. I used to watch it when it was on Me TV. If they put it back on, I will watch it again.
James Gardner is not John Wayne, but his westerns are fun to watch.

Interestingly my Mom did not like John Wayne. Her grandkids gave her a John Wayne DVD collection. They knew she loved westerns. She said thank you and gave it to me the next week.

Hmmmm

I am not pleased of what's been going on in here as of late. I hope we get back to norm very soon. I have never seen the likes of this before and I have been here a long time. Since 2006.

Ya'll need to take a step back. This thread, the Coffee shop does not need to change. This coffee shop was intended for anything goes except religion and politics. Period. If you don't like it go to another thread or look at your other options.

Personally I have always enjoyed coming to this thread before Jeffery (Freakendiesel/Running Bear) past. He was a great guy and good contributor, Santa Fe Willie is no different and I always looked forward to his posts. Willie I know you are taking a break but don't let this discourage you and I hope to see you soon.

Anyhow, the moderators Gary, Tony, and any other staff better get it right. Bob would not be happy about this at all. This is so childish and high school like. Unbeliveable.

Don't fix it if it ain't broke.......if you do it will be broken.

My 2 cents. Have good evening. I will be out for a few weeks as I have family to spend time with. Hope everyone takes a breath.

Good morning, Everybody!

This is a recap of the 1977 Baltimore Colts at home vs the New England Patriots. Sadley, it turned out to be the last time the Baltimore Colts would clinch a playoff spot. I was in the stands, and I can tell you it was an exciting game and one of the biggest come from behind wins I have ever seen.

In the film they frequently mention the Colts propensity for the short pass. What they fail to mention is Roger Carr was out due to a knee injury. In the 1976 season the Pro Bowl wide receiver caught 43 passes for 1,112 yards and averaged 25.9 yards per catch! The Colts were missing Carr's blazing speed and amazing hands. As great as Bert Jones was, he needed targets to throw to. Jones and the Colts still managed to find a way to beat the AFC East's best defense.

The Baltimore Colts the 1975, 1976 and 1977 AFC Eastern Division Champions!

If that's what you wanted, there was no need to contact Tony and get him to enact a rule. All you had to do was reach out in the coffee shop and give positive encouragement to those whose work you'd like to see encapsulated in a thread.
Well Well. So now I'm being accused of starting this mess am I, I voice an opinion you don't agree with, so, it must be Smudge who dunnit, but I will give your due, at least your man enough to voice it, I wonder how many others think the same, anyone else want to jump in, please, by all means feel free.
