Good morning. It looks like we'll be in the upper 80's or low 90's for the foreseeable future. I took my girls up to the Libby Dam rec area early yesterday when it was still cool. Spent almost 2 hours and left just before noon and it never got uncomfortable. Even when I took them out yesterday evening, the thermometer read 90 but there was a light breeze and so long as you were in the shade, it wasn't bad at all.

Ran around trying to get what I could locally. I picked up some angle iron to span between the "L" shelf brackets so the OSB wouldn't fall when it was being slid forward for removal.

Realized that I didn't even have any Elmer's glue. Got that and some paint.
I put the mirrors on each end of the space the module will be and the mirrors definitely made the space look larger.

It is hit and miss. Today at 1245 7/10/26 I had no problems even though guests were over 10K. Something is working. Thanks Bob.

I've seen some of Howard's work. It's quality craftsmanship. He definitely has talent and there are people that will pay for it.

Hello folks, just turned Noon here and is 91 already. Got out in the train room [porch] early to find some MR cars a fellow wants at the club meeting tomorrow, found them and sorted/organized the HO stuff that is currently stored. I will be building a HO module for the club after September, I have made room to store it in the outdoor building. I can work on the buildings etc. inside and then move them to the module. I have a bunch of the little metal Woodland Scenics building for it, so I'm looking forward to using them to set the feel for the module.
I too, enjoy Impressionist art, I had a very nice lithograph by Misha Lenn for many years, but sadly it would not go in the decorating plans for the new house a few years ago, so it now lives at a friend's home and his wife loves it, he said she cried when she saw it. Nice to know it has a good home.

Great guy and great people at RGR. I’ve mostly bought in-store but have had a couple orders shipped to me here (before the tariff business)

The guy who is the main guy that runs it is very stand up

Tom, I’d honestly like to see photos of your artwork. You’re expressing yourself, and that’s a good thing. If this was ego, you would’ve been showing pictures long ago. Sharing your work isn’t bragging; it’s just letting people see what you’ve been creating.

And if anybody laughs, that’s fine. It tells us a whole lot more about them than it does about you. I think it’s great you’re painting, and I’d enjoy seeing what you’ve been working on.

I mentioned before in your weathering thread; you are an artist. You’re just branching out now. Nothing wrong with that. Some paint trains, some paint canvases… you do both; it’s all the same creative engine under the hood.

That is why we "neuter" tha factory boards on Bachmann locos when adding DCC to a DC loco.

No decoder. My n scale stuff are all DC.

Bachmann, and some other “global” companies, inmstall RF chokes on the circuit board of their locomotives to comply with EU noise interference laws. Those chokes cause all kinds of performance issues, making what would be a good-running engine run really bad. Symptoms could be hesitating, lurching, lunging into life, etc.

BTW, it just started hailing here while I was typing this.
 
Found a snubber circuit. Going to breadboard it and play around with the cap and resistor values. My SD70s really suffer from the tail light flickering while going fwd so much that I put it away.

This will work on Kato boards but not Tomix yet. Going to have to figure out that architecture.

Edit: Duh, the resistor and cap go across the rail inputs so they can go anywhere.

Yeah, what he sez! We just find the offending part and go "snip" , hence the neutering reference.
