Especially our fingers! We need them to re-rail our rolling stock!Have a safe 4th, and make sure you keep all your fingers and toes.
Good God! My fire insurance couldn't possibly sustain that, particularly this year with a hundred year+ drought. (Snowpack just 22% of normal). In the 70's we used to buy fireworks strings of 30000 plus. Hang them up and light them off at midnight. Since everybody on the street did the same, the clean up on the next day was quite a bit.
One year, we bought a 30000 and 50000 set. They were hanging ready to go when someone threw an errant firecracker and it set both strings off early. Since we weren't prepared, my uncle grabbed my younger brother and covered his ears. Uncle's eardrums burst from that. I think that was the last time we did that.
That can be my plan C.You can order from here. They ship to the US and once they have your shipping address when you create an account the VAT will likely disappear in the cart.

Kudos on the size of your circle of family and friends.Worked at the gunstore today, lots of traffic but not many sales. I helped out by putting a rather unusual S&W revolver on layaway, a Model 36 no dash Pinto! Those were factory guns with blued frames and barrels and a nickel cylinder. And with a 3" barrel is definitely uncommon.
Storms threatened and rumbled this afternoon but never arrived. Got up to only 92, tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler.
Got home and then we had a Birthday crowd here for my G'niece Emma's 18th Birthday. We had 23 folks here! Our house is nice sized but we were definitely crowded. Chicken and beef for a taco bar, thankfully my wife always makes plenty of food.
Most have now left to go watch fireworks, and Uncle Kevin is relaxing.
God bless you guys and the USA.
