An update on the card issue, that's quickly turning into a fiasco:
Via phone call, the fraud department confirmed it was an attempted authorization, and not an actual purchase. The people here that said that's what is was are correct.
The fraud department said since I confirmed via their email I did not authorize the authorization, the card will remain locked. I will need to call a different number during normal business hours, not counting holidays (which tomorrow is a bank holiday) to get the lock unlocked.
When I pointed out the email asked "Did you make this purchase? Yes/No", I of course said NO.
Bombay Bob then hung up on me. I guess I'll not have access to my money until sometime Tuesday--unless the fraud department decides my card will remain locked, in which case--who knows?
