Terry’s problem is one of the seasons I don’t use debit cards. First, fraud affects my money with a debit card. Fraud with a credit card affects the banks money.

But second, I don’t lose access to my money. Sure, a credit card can be locked, but I maintain a few and one reason is this case. No single dependency. One gets locked for fraud, I have a couple backups. None of which directly affect my own money until the end of the month when I pay them off.
This was used as a credit card, I never use it as a debit card for any reason.

@montanan the trucks are gorgeous! Thank you! Send pics of some 40s-50s cars if you would.

More 40's and 50's vehicles.

I was just over at the layout I built for one of my friends. As I plugged in the power supply cable to the NEC Power Cab circuit board in the below photo it broke apart. I see a + and - sign on the circuit board. Does anyone here know if I can just solder the power supply leads to the + and - connections. Swal

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with cards (poker, euchre, or credit)

It's Troy again

Had a fun time at the game store. Five people showed up to play the new game with reduced forces (demos, not their own armies). Sounds like we might be able to start a local group.

Here are some pics:

Question for you firearms experts... in one of my books, I've got a "special agent" from the magical version of MI6 getting her gear ready for a mission. One of my reviewers gave me a low review because of my choice of equipment. Said he's got the same pistol and an agent would never use it. (agent is female)

I relied on the AI to offer up some potential firearm choices for the agent, and I went with the Ruger Max 9s because I have the SR 9, and figured I was at least familiar with the brand if not the pistol.

Here's the bit from the book. Why is the Max 9 so bad? What else did I get wrong about the weaponry and holsters?

I turned to my firearms, laying out the Galco Miami Classic shoulder holsters on the bed. The black leather was supple, molded to my body from countless missions. I slid my Ruger Max 9s into the holsters, their grips fitting perfectly into my hands. Next, I retrieved a dozen magazines with silver-tipped bullets, their black casings barely gleaming under the harsh hotel lights. I tucked the magazines into the pouches on the holster and added more to the magical storage compartments in my jacket. An inside waistband holster with another Max-9 went around my hips, hidden beneath my shirt.

I tried to see if I had any pics of the bottom of the board, but I don't. I guess the best way to check is to do a continuity check to the power socket.

I believe you can. My spare UTP panel is one of the older types with the "wallwort" plug between the control bus plugs, but from what I see on both sides of the panel it looks like power could come in from either site

I really like my Max 9

It should be an HK or a Walther if she's European. That holster was designed for the Bren 10.

That's what I get for relying on the AI to help me match up stuff.

I'm dropping brands out of the book. Just "pistols" and "holsters". I'll check on what the baddies are carrying for semi-auto bad-guy rifles, and post when I find it.

Ruger is not usually a duty gun. Especially super secret squirrels.

I thought I personally am not a Glock guy at all, it’s be the safest choice. SIG, H&K, S&W would be other safe choices. It depends a little on the time setting of then story for model.

The Ruger is a small, very compact pistol that will fit many women's hands better than men's. If you are going for a concealment pistol, it's hard to beat. If going into a fight, something with more capacity would be more appropriate. If your agent is smaller, both the Springfield Hellcat and Sig P365 series of guns can hold anything from 10-17 round magazines. The Miami Classic is available for the 365 too.

Welp, that was easy, went right to the bad guys she's trying to take out.

Is this appropriate bad guy armament?

Colt M4A1 carbine, with a suppressor the size of a bratwurst.
That’s a carbine version of the M16 in its select fire version like any AR15 style rifle is a semi-automatic version of the same platform. Lots of bad guys use that style of rifle. It’s also (in general) become the standard rifle around the world for the world’s militaries and policing services. (From whatever maker and normal so-called gas direct impingement Colt style weapon or HK style gas piston).

But as I said before, an AK style rifle is the go to rifle around the world for terrorists, commies, insurgents, etc. :).
